As a therapist and counselor in Austin, Texas, I've been doing counseling and/or psychotherapy since 1986 and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). This means I am licensed to do counseling and psychotherapy with anyone for any issue.

I see individuals for a wide range of counseling issues including depression, stress, and anxiety. I also see couples for relationship, premarital, marriage and post-divorce counseling. My areas of specialization are rape and sexual abuse, issues of infidelity/affairs/cheating, ADD/ADHD in marriage, and maintaining a happy, stable marriage after the birth of a child.

"Thank you for everything! --For helping me in so many meaningful and important ways. For sharing with me the gift of your wisdom and guidance. For encouraging me to grow, and for making a real difference in my life--THANK YOU." ~KM

My Approach to Counseling and Therapy

With over 25 years experience in the field of psychology, counseling and psychotherapy, I have come to believe that much of our unhappiness comes from "not knowing." Lack of information about how to have healthy relationships, how to cope with adversity, and how to survive and thrive in the world leads people down paths they never intended to go down. At worst, lack of knowledge can shatter our dreams and goals and deliver us to the door of saddness, desperation and hopelessness. At best, lack of knowledge can keep us from reaching our goals and cause us to feel unfulfilled, lonely, or lost. My goal is to help you find the knowledge you need to live a happy, fulfilling life and to make the changes necessary to have that life.

"I can't imagine where my wife and I would be without your help. I am forever grateful for your guidence. We are once again the kind of couple that makes others jealous." ~AD
